The agreement between each member and this service.

What the attorney needs to cover

This outline describes how the system actually behaves, so the drafting starts from facts rather than a template.

• Eligibility: 18 or older, enforced by a self-attested date of birth for free accounts and a government ID check for subscribing members. Note in drafting that unverified accounts are visible to members who opt in, so age on those accounts is self-attested.
• Subscription terms: billing interval, automatic renewal, how to cancel through the Stripe Customer Portal, and refund policy. Note that the founding-member cohort receives a rate that persists while their subscription remains active.
• What the verified badge does and does not represent — specifically that it confirms an identity document was checked, not that the service endorses or has assessed the person.
• Acceptable use, and the grounds on which an account may be frozen, suspended or banned.
• That the service may block a device, not only an account, and what that means for a member who shares a household device.
• Content licence: what rights the member grants for photos and profile text, and what happens to that content after deletion.
• Disclaimer that this service does not conduct background or criminal-record checks, and does not vouch for any member.
• No medical claims: this service makes no representation about vaccine safety or efficacy in any direction, and matches solely on a stated personal preference.
• Limitation of liability, dispute resolution, arbitration and governing law.
• How members are notified of changes to these terms, and the versioned consent record kept for each acceptance.
